Ella proves a sharpshooter in sub-juniors

John XXIII (JTC) finished the season with 18 points, Iona was next on 14 and Subiaco Primary School finished third with 10.

Mt Hawthorn Primary School student Ella Molyneaux won the sub-junior goal-shooting competition, getting eight out of 10 goals.

In the open division one competition, Sterling Saints secured fourth spot with a 42-24 win over Souths and tipped West Coasters out of the finals.

City Beach Surfers finished undefeated, beating third-placed Phantoms 48-26 and Scarborough retained second place with a 43-34 win over West Coasters.

Classics moved up to sixth spot after a close 31-26 win against Wembley.

City Beach also finished top of the junior division one competition after beating West Coasters 45-25, Classics were next with a 44-25 win over Perth College, third-placed Methodist Ladies’ College defeated fourth-placed JTC 38-15 and City Beach 2 just overcame Royals 21-19.

In the Year 7-8 division one, Classics finished first with a 41-22 win over Perth College, which then finished third on the ladder, West Coasters moved up to second after beating City Beach, which finished fourth, 32-21, MLC defeated JTC 48-19 and Classics 2 had a 38-14 win over Newman Sienna.
