The upcoming Catmas market will boost funds for the charity, with stalls selling gifts, food and pet products, raffles, a kitten kissing booth and more.

Adoptions will be running as normal on the day, with hundreds of furry felines ready to head home with a new family.

Cat Haven fundraising officer Lauren Nesbitt said the event will ease the pressure during the Christmas period.

“Last weekend we did over 120 adoptions and sent 200 cats to foster homes, but we’ve received over 100 more cats already this week,” she said.
