Brianna driven to succeed

Although her next major competition is not until April, the City Beach resident and HBF Junior Sports Heroes nominee said she still trained at least seven sessions a week.

As the only West Australian in the 2012 World Short-Course Championships team, Throssell was offered a place at the 2013 Junior World Championships, but chose to focus on her studies.

‘I was inspired to study physiotherapy at Notre Dame University through my interactions with physios at Subiaco Sports Massage Clinic,’ she said.
