Kingsley MLA and patron Andrea Mitchell was among the 100 guests, acknowledging the club’s 26 remaining original members present.

The club began in 1993 after budding bowlers indicated their interest at a public meeting called by the WA Bowling Association.

Members used the Yugoslav (later Stirling Bowling Club) club’s greens and clubhouse until Warwick Open Space facilities were ready.

– The club starts eight-week community lawn bowls on Wednesday, October 23 at 6.30pm. Four-member teams play for prizes, equipment and coaching provided. For details, call Gloria on 0432 413 365.
