End draws nigh for Brad’s flowing long locks

Staff ReporterWanneroo Times

Brad has grown his hair for two years for his two-year-old nephew Hamish, who is battling the disease.

‘You go into the hospital and you see all the kids in there, and they are all so innocent it isn’t fair; chemotherapy isn’t pleasant, it’s really hard,’ Mr Quinn said. ‘Another reason for the shave is my boss that trained me to be an electrician passed away from leukaemia a few years ago.’

The Wanneroo Business Association member and wife Rebecca have organised a fundraising event on March 23 at the Wanneroo Sports and Social Club, which will involve a barefoot bowling tournament, prizes and sausage sizzle, sponsored by their Laser Electrical Greenwood business.
