AN educational product supplier with furry public ambassador has opened a store in Joondalup.

Mr Durnin said he started the business five years ago, with the first store in Canning Vale, and named it after his dog Ziggy.

Mr Durnin said having grown its service from 59 schools in the first year to almost 125 this year, it seemed the right time to set up a northern suburbs store.

“Ziggies is 100 per cent WA owned and operated and we are the biggest WA-owned company providing the booklist service to schools and parents,” he said.

“We also supply the latest teacher resources from all the major publishers, stickers, educational games and toys, interactive equipment and classroom sound enhancement technology.

“Naomi Spurr runs the Back to School program and the Canning Vale store and Gemma Harris will be looking after the Joondalup store.

“We have a great team and enjoy each other’s successes.”
