“Now submitting a women’s team shows how quickly Ellenbrook is growing.”

Ellenbrook entered a team in the amateur league carnival in July, winning two out of three games at Subiaco Oval. The side’s players were aged from 17 to 60, “proving age is not a barrier”.

“Playing on the big stage in front of our children was an amazing experience and we are looking forward to a great year ahead,” coach Dezzy Giles said.

Ellenbrook Junior Football Club players now have a pathway into adult football.

The team is open to players aged from 17, with training starting early next year.
