Ellenbrook too strong in Battle of Brooks clash

Ellenbrook’s bus broke down on the way to the clash, but the team still went on to win 64 to 20.

‘We tried hard, but they were just too tall and too good for us,’ Swan Valley captain Jordan Marshall said.

‘Our defence worked well but it was always under pressure.

‘If we didn’t get our first shot into the basket, then we usually didn’t get a second shot as their rebounders would take the ball away,’ he said.
