Wild ride for students

Staff ReporterNorth Coast Times

Years 6 and 7 students at Merriwa Primary School designed and built their own go-karts in Term 3, then painted and decorated them ready to race in a gala day on the last day of school.

Principal Sue Waterhouse said the students worked in teams, each picking a theme, dressed up and played music on September 27.

They ended the term by driving the go-karts, down the hill outside school.
