Home invasion charges

Senior Sergeant Gary Saunders said on September 5 a group of people went to a Devonport Circuit house.

‘Once inside the premises, they have threatened the family and assaulted the male occupant of the house and stolen a significant quantity of property and also stolen the family’s Holden Commodore SS utility,’ Sgt Saunders alleged.

‘On September 10, we arrested a 26-year-old male from Innaloo and charged him with aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and stealing a motor vehicle.

‘As a result of investigations we located and arrested the person, executed a search warrant on his house in Innaloo and a house in Karrinyup.’

Sgt Saunders said investigations were continuing to identify the other people allegedly involved, and the man charged would appear in Perth Magistrates Court on October 30.
