The college had 12 students represent Peel Thunder in development squads in the 14 to 16 age groups.

Luke Shepherd, Hayden Cory, Lachlan Annels, Brody Wemm, Zac Backman, Corey Fenton, Jackson Capurso, Robert Hewitt, Jared Middleton, Matthew Dempsey, Liam Lockley and Aidan Constantine were all presented with Thunder jerseys at the college this month.

College student Luke Shepherd was a stand out, representing in the State 16s and playing for Thunder’s colts side at the end of this season.

Staff members at the college ” Neil Taylor, Tegan Wilson, Luke Green and Doug Beeton ” work in coaching roles at the club and with the development squads.

The first targeted sports program at the college began in 2010 focusing on Aussie Rules, basketball, soccer, hockey and netball.

Students from Year 7 feeder primary schools will begin to express their interest soon.
