With help from staff at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre, she has been enjoying swimming lessons in the swim school since 2010.
Acacia’s family made inquiries with centre staff to see if the centre was suitable for her needs.
With a few minor adjustments and a pre-swim regime, Acacia is having fun in the water with her peers.

Due to Acacia’s severe reaction to rubber, her grandmother made a special material cover for her pool noodle and bought a cover for her kickboard.
