Many thanks

Carine Leeflang, for Cancer Council of WAComment News

No, not the flowers, the girls.

They, together with an army of other volunteers, spend time in the shopping centres at Armadale and Maddington, six days each and one day on Daffodil Day in Roleystone.

And thanks to the generosity of the wonderful public we raised just short of $17,000. More than $1000 was received in donations and this is going directly to the Cancer Council without any cost.

Everyone had a story to tell, most of them were happy ones of survivors, yet, this is not always the case.

If we keep putting our shoulders under this cause together, there will be a better chance for support, research and cure.

All the money raised stays in WA.

Thank you to all those who stopped at our stalls and either bought, donated or just had a little talk.

In October we hope to be back for the Pink Ribbon Day and we hope to see you all again.

Thank you from the heart.
