A FIRE has burned through ‘a couple of hectares’ of bush in Forrestdale, with seven crews attending the blaze.
At 12.51pm, a home owner phoned to report a fire in a neighbour’s backyard that was coming close to his property.
The Department of Fire and Emergency services dispatched crews to the blaze, near Oxley and Taylor Roads, and it was brought under control at 1.22pm.
