Town of Cambridge completes $1.4m road resurfacing project in bid to create safer travel

Harriet FlinnPerthNow - Western Suburbs

Smoother travel is on the way for western suburbs residents following the completion of a $1.4m road resurfacing project on Floreat and West Leederville streets.

The Town of Cambridge announced on Friday 190km of roads and lanes had been resurfaced since works began in November 2023.

They included Berkeley Crescent, Caithness and Hornsey roads, Linden Gardens, Orrel and Kirkdale avenues in Floreat and St Leonards Avenue in West Leederville.

The town hopes the resurfacing not only makes the roads safer but reduces noise and maintenance needs and improves drainage.
